DINING WITH DIPLOMATS

I illustrated ‘Dining with Diplomats, Praying with Gunmen’, published by Quaker Books in 2020. It sheds light on international Quaker conciliation work and the quiet, patient but determined processes that underpin it. I had a fantastic time working with author Anne Bennett, and rising to the challenge of visualising the sometimes heady concepts of conciliation, mediation and working in conflict zones. It was a privilege to delve into what makes this work so deeply rooted in Quaker testimonies, and the courage of people who have attempted it through the generations.
